Sunday Services - 10:00 - 11:00 a.m.
The Pastor of every Christian Science church is the Bible and Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures. Two member-elected Readers present a sermon from these books on a weekly subject. This is the same sermon read at all Christian Science services around the world and provides spiritual ideas "uncontaminated by human hypotheses." Services also include prayer and music: organ selections, a soloist, and hymn-singing.
Wednesday Testimony Meetings - 7:00 PM
These public, informal gatherings combine brief readings from the Bible and Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, hymns, prayer, and include time for those attending to offer insights from spiritual study, give thanks, and tell about healings that have come through prayer. It's a time for spontaneous sharing, thanksgiving, and mutual support.
Sunday School - 10:00 - 11:00 a.m.
Young people up to the age of 20 meet weekly with teachers well-versed in the Bible and Science and Health. They study Bible stories, learn the Beatitudes, the Ten Commandments, and talk about Jesus' life. The older students learn the essential elements of Christian living, ask those hard life-questions, develop a clear moral compass, and find ways to apply spiritual principles to the situations they face at school and at home.
A staffed children's room is provided both Sunday and Wednesday for children too young for Sunday School.
Church without Walls
We prefer that you actually come to church! Sometimes that is not possible and we would rather have you as a virtual attendee than not at all! To facilitate attendance, you can dial into a conference call about 5 minutes before the Sunday and Wednesday services and listen to the service. On Wednesday evenings, conference call participants can contribute during the time for sharing.
Please note you may incur long distance charges on your telephone bill.
